On the tunes of the original tarab and oriental melodies, the Ornina Forum for Culture and Arts concluded its varied artistic cultural festival through a musical concert of the "Noa Athar" band with the participation of some members of the Ornina band.
The concert, which was hosted by the Sami Al Droubi Hall in the Culture of Homs, included a combination of Tarab songs and oriental melodies that came in the form of a harmonious group of singing clips across more than different musical stations.
The founder of the Ornina Forum for Culture and Arts, “Raymond Capron”, indicated in a statement to SANA that the festival carried a variety of cultural and artistic activities with the aim of spreading high-end human art in all its fields and introducing joy and hope to society after years of war and the negative impact it left on our souls. Until the musical group Al-Multaqa will soon perform at the Cultural Palace in Homs
Plastic artist Mohammed Salman, a member of the Ornina Forum, explained that culture is a necessary need within the circumstances in which we live, especially to solve the crises created by the war, re-spread culture in society, and employ greater capabilities to restore the psychological balance of the citizen by producing artistic and cultural works of qualitative value.
During the concert, she performed the talent for singing, which recently proved her presence on the artistic scene despite her 15 years, “Noshik Kilijian,” the song “Mesh Awaydak” by the artist Mayada Al-Hinnawi with her authentic Tarab voice, amid the public's approval.
For his part, "Fayez Al-Shami", the leader of the Nawa Athar musical group, explained that the group seeks to introduce young people to oriental melodies, spread this kind of musical culture and taste its aesthetics, indicating that Noa Athar takes it upon itself to provide better performance and improve the level of musical production provided to the audience who is tasteful and thirsty for authentic music and heritage.
The Ornina Festival for Culture and Arts was launched this month in Al-Zahrawi Palace in Old Homs and included an art exhibition, heritage and historical seminars on the architecture of Homsi buildings and the most important modern archaeological discoveries in Homs.
