With 101 new cases,

people infected with Sars-CoV-2, as the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL) published on Sunday.

Corona in Nuremberg: Incidence rises to over 200 - 24 Covid patients are in intensive care units

From tomorrow (Saturday, November 14), there will be a strict ban on visiting the Nuremberg Clinic.

Corona in Nuremberg: Over 200 new cases - incidence of 170 - nursing homes affected
First report from November 11th:

This was announced by Chancellor Angela Merkel * (CDU *) together with Bavaria's Prime Minister Markus Söder * (CSU *) at a press conference.

Coronavirus in Bavaria: Lockdown in Berchtesgadener Land shows success
There were or are several Corona * hotspots in Bavaria.
In the Berchtesgadener Land and Rottal-Inn districts, the numbers were so high at times that the
lockdown
there began before November 2nd - with success.
The seven-day incidence - the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week - fell in Berchtesgadener Land to 157.65, according to the district office - half of the high of 324 at the end of October.

Coronavirus in Nuremberg: Nursing homes also affected - several people infected
The coronavirus * is also spreading in nursing homes.
Several people were infected with it in three nursing homes in Nuremberg *.
A resident of a facility died, as the
city of Nuremberg announced
on Tuesday (November 10).
Four sick people are in the hospital, one of them in the intensive care unit.
In a retirement home in the Langwasser district, 27 of the 144 residents are infected.
There are 15 of the 136 elderly people in the old town and eleven of the 139 elderly people in the Gostenhof district.
In each of the three facilities, nine nurses tested positive for the
Sars-CoV-2 virus

Coronavirus / Bavaria: Mobile vaccination teams are to vaccinate in retirement homes
In the event that there is soon a vaccine *, Minister of Health Melanie Huml explained a vaccination strategy at a press conference.
The vaccines will therefore be brought to nine locations in the Free State.
