The prosecutor investigating the crime of Fernando Báez Sosa (18), the young man beaten to death at the exit of a bowling alley in the city of Villa Gesell last January, asked this Tuesday that the eight rugby players arrested for the incident be put on trial. , and ordered the dismissal of two others who were at liberty.
The request was made by the prosecutor Verónica Zamboni, head of the Villa Gesell Functional Unit of Instruction 5, before the Judge of Guarantees David Mancinelli, one day after ten months of the crime and the deadline to do so expired.
For the crime, the rugby players Máximo Thomsen (20), Ciro Pertossi (20), Luciano Pertossi (18), Lucas Pertossi (21), Enzo Comelli (20), Matías Benicelli (20), Blas Cinalli (19) remain in preventive detention and Ayrton Viollaz (21), whom Zamboni considers co-authors of the young man's crime.
They are all detained in the Melchor Romero prison.
Meanwhile, Juan Pedro Guarino (19) and Alejo Milanesi (19) are at liberty, accused of being "necessary participants" in the event.
