The Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion today (Tuesday) granted the police's request and again extended the detention of the rabbi suspected of committing sexual offenses against two minors and an adult.

This, after the police presented to the court a notice according to which another complaint was filed and there is a suspicion that more victims will be located.

The detention will be extended by six days.

Humiliation Area police investigators sought to allow the publication of his name, among other things to assist in the investigation.

Nevertheless, the court banned the publication of his name for a day until the hearing of the appeal that the police will file in the district court.

As reported over the weekend, police were called to handle a confrontation that involved physical contact in a city in the South.

The police then found out that the background was a conflict between his followers and his opponents over suspicions of sexual offenses.

Several involved were detained for questioning and released on conditions that included removal from the rabbi.

Police later located a boy and a young man, who eventually filed a complaint against the rabbi, who they claimed had committed indecent acts on them.

The Torah Court: "Stay away from the rabbi"

The rabbi, who was questioned on Friday, denied the suspicions and claimed the plot of his opponents.

Despite this, he was brought to court on Saturday night, where his detention was extended by consent for interrogation purposes for three days.

Meanwhile, a Torah court issued an order for more followers to complain to the police if they were harmed by the rabbi's actions and ruled that he should "stay away from him."

This, after before the current affair the rabbi was summoned to settle a dispute in court and did not appear.

The rabbi himself asked the court not to allow the publication of his name after he said threats of violence had reached his family.
