With the “Winter Etiquette”, the federal government and Angela Merkel may be planning further rules of conduct for the Corona period.
The reactions on the net to this have been rather critical so far.
To
reduce
contact
, the federal and state heads could decide on further contact restrictions on Monday or at least issue recommendations.
The
"winter etiquette"
is a term that circulates in the run-up to the consultations.
A few
users on the net are
particularly bothered by the term
.
Berlin - Adhere to the sneeze and cough etiquette, avoid shaking hands, keep your distance: In
Corona times
, rules of conduct when dealing with other people are immensely important in order
to avoid
infection
.
Now there is a new word that fits into this series:
"Winter etiquette"
.
Such a
code of conduct
with rules for children, families and adults could be adopted on Monday afternoon in the conference of the prime ministers with Chancellor
Angela Merkel
(CDU).
According to the
picture
information (article behind the payment barrier) the following could be included in the "winter etiquette":
A
household
should only be allowed to affect one other household - always the same.
A
child
should always meet with the same boyfriend or girlfriend.
Even with mild
cold symptoms
, you have to stay at home for several days and get an electronic sick note.
Elderly people
should be given special protection, but isolation of the people should definitely be prevented.
RTL
takes up the advice
to refrain
from
traveling
as a further point of
etiquette.
These are all measures that continue to
build
on
contact
reduction.
All unnecessary encounters should be taboo.
This is currently seen as the most important point about the still comparatively high number of
new infections
to minimize.
But there is increasing
resistance
against the planned rules
- about the point with the cold symptoms or meeting children.
It is therefore possible that individual points on the list above are not even decided or recommended.
Winter etiquette: reactions to the planned rules of behavior
Even before the
Prime Minister
and the Chancellor presented their results,
Christian Lindner
, FDP chairman, intervened.
In one of several Twitter messages about the Corona summit and the current measures, he addresses the issue of cold symptoms: "The recommended quarantine for cold symptoms of any kind would paralyze the country." He
thinks that comprehensive rapid
tests are better.
It is necessary to reduce contacts, but the extent of even family separation is excessive.
The recommended # quarantine for # cold symptoms of any kind would paralyze the country.
Comprehensive #quick tests would be better.

Winter etiquette: lack of understanding on the internet - there is talk of "embarrassment" and "rubbish"
Otherwise there are
mainly critical comments on the Internet
about the
“winter etiquette”
.
One user mockingly said: “Winter etiquette ... It is unbearable.
From so much embarrassment and increasingly crazy statements you can see quite well that they are getting more and more desperate. ”Others think that
distance and mask
are ok as rules, but such measures are more of a“ rubbish ”.
Above all, the fact that more and more terms like
“lockdown light”
or now “winter etiquette” are circulating is something that some users find bad because these words are belittled.
Instead, says a Licensees: "Caution is important, consideration also, but we need concepts for life with Covid-19, 20, 21 seq." Word games like "Winter Knigge - The you can kniggen" are not uncommon as a
reaction
to the Announcement.
"Winter etiquette" - the next belittling after the "lockdown light" term and the strange video about doing nothing in the Corona review in 20 years ... #Cautiousness is important, # Consideration too, but we need concepts for life with Covid-19, 20, 21 following https://t.co/d0HNrdtf8C

Corona winter etiquette: Angela Merkel has been saying for a long time that winters would be tough
Only a few users who take part in the
debates,
for example on Twitter, see the term “winter etiquette” and its content soberly.
But none of this has been officially announced yet.
Instead, there is anger about draft resolutions.
But such “rules of conduct for the winter” fit into Merkel's previous warnings: In her weekly
video podcast
,
among other things
, Merkel repeatedly emphasizes that the cold season will be a difficult time.
"The
winter
ahead of us
will demand a lot from us all."
Should
rules of conduct be adopted as "winter etiquette"
in the
deliberations
, it would presumably be urgent recommendations to be given to the Germans.
Further
tightening
or
relaxation
could be enacted in the coming week, when the federal and state heads meet again and the current
corona situation in Germany
evaluate.
