Tame a mane with a brush and blow dryer can be challenging.
For smooth, voluminous hair, if you want it to be wavy, you need a good blow-dry routine, followed by a flat iron and then hot rollers, or pay $ 30- $ 50 for a professional job.
Until now.
When the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer landed on our doorstep, we were skeptical.
We had heard the benefits but they seemed a bit over the top: Amazon's 25,000 positive reviews, praise, hundreds and hundreds of YouTube beauty influencers tutorials but ... can it really be that good?
To our surprise yes.
This brush and dryer combination has become our favorite accessory and is now available at an even lower price.
Revlon One-Step Volumizing & Blow Drying Hot Air Brush ($ 29.39, originally $ 59.99; amazon.com)
Revlon recommends towel drying your hair first and waiting until it is almost half dry before starting the drying process.
By doing so, you are ensuring a head of dry, straight hair in 10 minutes or less.
The hair where we have tested it is not thick, but it is long, and with the One-Step it only took seven to eight minutes.
There were no tangles or tugs, thanks to the combination of the ball-tipped nylon bristle brush and boar bristles, which work together to gently detangle the strands of hair while also grabbing the hair to curl it.
The swivel cord also makes it unnecessary to constantly reposition the brush.
Less time spent applying heat to hair also means less damage, so it's all good.
We have no doubt, it's the foolproof hair tool you've been looking for.
