On the way to good, man can find many excuses why to do evil, why what is forbidden is allowed and what is allowed is forbidden.

The Gemara says that in Yavne it was wise that he had 70 excuses why to eat the reptile, he was not just a man, Tanna!

He had 70 interpretations of why it is permissible to eat the reptile, take a cockroach and eat it. "

"It happens when there is no frightening reverence for God, from the Blessed One, that a person is afraid of Gd, and does not understand the depth of Gd's fear," Rabbi Pinto added, "says our father Abraham, "There is no real reverence for God, they will kill me.
