The Coroner's Court inquiry continued today (17th). The senior inspector who led the team into the parking lot to raid said that they saw firefighters and volunteer first responders dealing with the injured on the second floor near the periphery. The team members asked if they wanted to help, but the other party did not reply need.

In addition, the big case on behalf of Zi Le's parents revealed that it was learned at noon that someone wanted to provide more information, but did not disclose the details.

The deceased Zhou Zile (22 years old) was found lying on the second floor of Shangde Parking Lot A (hereinafter referred to as Shang A Parking Lot) in the early morning of November 4 last year during the conflict, and died on the 8th of the same month.

Go to the second floor to see the firefighters deal with the injured

In the ecliptic, the team followed the car to sweep up the ground spirally and counterclockwise. At 1:18 at the second floor facing Guangmingyuan near Baokang Road, they saw firefighters and volunteer first responders dealing with the injured, so they sent team members to check.

The team members asked if they wanted to help. The firefighters responded with sufficient manpower, and the volunteer first responders asked the police officers to leave and not to harass.

Huang said that the purpose of entering the parking lot is to disperse violent demonstrators. The task is urgent. In addition, some people are injured, and the safety of the injured, firefighters, and first responders must be ensured. Therefore, the whole team continued to raid.

The team is not obstructed or harassed

Huang emphasized that the team did not hinder or harass the rescue and did not contact the injured.

He did not come forward to understand, so he did not see the appearance of the injured; no one told the injured at the scene, and the firefighters did not disclose the injuries and how they were injured.

The team left through the fire door

Huang Xudao received the retreat instructions at 1:25, and the whole team left the parking lot through the fire door. He believed that no other team entered the parking lot afterwards.

On the ground, people in Sheung Tak Village and Beverly Garden threw hard objects, and Huang ordered tear gas bombs to be shot at both sides.

I heard running sounds during inspections on the first floor

Huang said that there was no suspicious person in the parking lot. Under questioning by the jurors, he pointed out that he had not seen anyone else before seeing the firefighter or during the retreat through the fire door.

At the beginning of his tour on the first floor, he heard the sound of running upstairs, but he did not know the exact location.

There is an aftertaste of tear gas at the entrance of the parking lot

The Huangzhi team did not touch Zile or chase anyone that night, and did not use any force during its stay in the parking lot, including firing tear gas.

His team fired several tear gas bombs before entering the parking lot. He said that there was an aftertaste of tear gas at the entrance of the parking lot, but he could not smell it when he reached the first floor.

The Director of Inquiry broadcasted a live broadcast of the cable news on Facebook. According to the time shown in the clip, Huang's team entered the parking lot at 1:4, instead of 1:10 as he said in the court.

Huang explained that his statement was obtained from the watch at the time, and he did not know how far it was from the clip.

Reiterate that there is no harassment or obstruction of rescue

As for the CCTV video of the parking lot, it can be seen that the police entered the parking lot from the ground at 1:5 screen time, with a fireman passing by.

The video on the second floor of the parking lot showed a firefighter walking past a 7-person car near the stone wall at 1:13 screen time.

According to the video, Huang said that the squad ran into the area one minute later, and the injured were behind the 7-person vehicle, reiterating that they did not hinder or harass the rescue.

In the court, he used a three-dimensional model of the parking lot to indicate that the injured was on the second floor platform.

Family lawyer says someone intends to provide information

After leaving the court yesterday, Zhou's father said he wanted to "do as little as possible" for his son, and called on the witnesses to contact him or the court to provide more information.

At the end of the inquiry, the barrister representing the family, Cheng Shuyi, revealed that at noon, she learned that someone planned to provide more information and hoped to ask Huang for further information.

The inquiry will be resumed tomorrow.
