Damascus-Sana
The story texts included in the literary meeting at the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Midan varied between satirical, social and imaginary fantasy.
The meeting, which was revived by three writers and moderated by Kawkab Al-Ahmad, was started by narrator Raslan Odeh with a story entitled (The First Kiss) that tells about the social reality in light of the Corona pandemic and the implications of the terrorist war on our country and its confrontation by people with love, hope and loyalty, and the story was distinguished by its poetic language, its coherent construction and its painful end.
The storyteller, Dr. Muhammad Amer Mardini, shared two stories of satirical literature, one of which was titled (The Coming of General De Gaulle), in which he talked about what rumors cause people to think and accept the idea, no matter how ridiculous it is if attributed to a well-known scientist or thinker, and another story criticizing the phenomenon of cheating in university exams.
As for the storyteller, Samer Mansour, he presented an untitled fictional fantasy that tells of the West and America's dealings with some of the men of thought who disagree with them in a way that has dominated dramatic dialogue over storytelling and fiction over reality.
