In the past year or so, Hong Kong has experienced a turmoil in legislative amendments and has encountered the new crown pneumonia epidemic. All walks of life have been challenged, and civil servants are no exception.
The Civil Service Bureau organized the Secretary's Commendation Certificate Scheme, and 100 civil servants were commended.

The Secretary for the Civil Service, Nie Dequan, uploaded a video of the award ceremony today (17th) to congratulate the 100 civil servants who received the award. The Chief Executive Carrie Lam and the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Lau Wu Wailan, both attended.
The 100 winners came from 39 policy bureaus and departments and were responsible for different positions, including firefighters and staff of the Environmental Protection Department responsible for the management of Shing Mun River.
An employee of the Environmental Protection Agency said that when he heard the Secretary praise Shing Mun River, he was surprised, "It turns out that everyone will see it. Our efforts and achievements have been seen by everyone."
Nie Dequan also took this opportunity to thank all civil servants, expressing that civil servants have suffered as much pressure as the citizens in the past year, thanked for sticking to their posts and willing to take one step, and hoped that in the future they can also demonstrate teamwork and unswervingly support the work of the SAR government.
