"Emergency call": The rabbi and the minister shouted

Rishon Lezion Chief Rabbi of Israel Hagaon Joseph designed his office with the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Alon Shuster, about the preparations required for the Sabbatical year. At the end of the meeting called rabbi and the minister an emergency call to all concerned, to transfer budget Sabbatical quickly so as not to harm the preparations.
At the meeting was also attended by Director General The Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Chief Rabbinate, Adv. Oded Plus, the Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Nahum Itzkovich, and the center of the Shmita Committee in the Chief Rabbinate, Rabbi Israel Yair Bitton.
The directors of the ministries reviewed before the rabbi and the minister the extensive logistical preparations required for the year of the shemita and the existence of a court treasury, the investment required in detached agricultural crops, the issuance of a sales permit and the opening of import channels to complete the missing food. The shemita of the chief rabbinate and raised before the rabbi a number of halakhic questions that reached the shmita committee.
At the end of the meeting, the rabbi and the minister called together in an emergency call to all concerned, including the Ministry of Finance and the political echelon, to work to transfer the shmita budget in the near future so that the shmita director can apply her work without harming the shmita year.
