Whether it's a weekend holiday or a leisure day, Dadong Mountain is full of people, and mountain hikers are in an endless stream. Most of them check in and take pictures with the sea of grass on the mountain.

Photographer Terrence Yeung came to Dadongshan recently and thought that there were more people than last year, and found that a large number of tourists on the way up the mountain made the bypass road to check in.

He also reminded visitors to pay attention to safety when using aerial cameras and avoid low flying.

Photographer Terrence Yeung wrote an article on the Facebook page "Landscapes Traveler" after visiting Dadongshan a few days ago, sharing his experience on Dadongshan under the title "One year after the incident, beyond recognition."

He explained to reporters why Dadongshan was "unrecognizable". He said: "One is the flow of people, and the other is the mountain road. There are too many branch roads."

Terrence pointed out that there are many new roads on the mountain that are opened by tourists walking into the Miscanthus. The number of new roads is much more than before.

He said: "I go to Dadongshan every year. On both sides of the main trail, I see a lot of miscanthus. In the past, in certain locations, there would be a small branch road where you can go in and check in. But this time I go there. , As long as there is a haystack beside the road, there will be three or four branches going in."

"Every branch has a pile of shadows. In fact, it is easy to shadow other people from every angle, so people naturally step on the grass and step on new roads." Terrence lamented that this is a vicious circle. He said, "You If you step on it, you will have more shadows, and the miscanthus will die more, and the amount of miscanthus that can be shadowed will be reduced. With less miscanthus, people will go deeper and make new paths.”

Terrence believes that the flow of people in Dadongshan this year is more than that of last year. He went up the mountain on a free day this year and found that the flow of people was comparable to that of last weekend.

He said that the newly opened branch roads are mainly concentrated on the section of Dadongshan on Bogongao. He said: "After the main path, many people will walk after the shadows are complete. Therefore, the damage in the early section of the Shangshan Road is more serious. The implementation is far less rare. To the top of the mountain, there will be fewer people and there is a lot of miscanthus, but many people will not go."

Terrence reminded mountain hikers to take care of others when taking pictures. He said that when he saw an aerial camera flying low on the mountain that day, it was very dangerous. "There was an airplane passing overhead and it flew so low. Some people use an aerial camera to take a group photo, because flying high will not show the appearance, they will fly the aerial camera low, but the aerial camera will not only take pictures over their group of people, but also circle around nearby. , Shooting the surrounding environment. The speed of the aerial camera is very fast, there is a certain degree of danger, and it is easy to hit passers-by if it loses control." He advises everyone to fly higher when using the aerial camera to avoid low-altitude flying in crowded places.

He also encountered a group of people blocking the mountain road to take photos. He described the situation at the time: "I saw them closing the road and holding the light pipe, planning to "long exposure" and shadow some light tracks. Although the location is relatively more It's wide, but passers-by can't walk past because they will be in the mirror. Others can't think about it. They have to wait for them to wave the light pipe once before they get there."

Terrence shared the experience of the sunset on Dadongshan, "I arrived at that location earlier, and a large group of people came later. They won't pay attention to you. Whether I opened the tripod or was already standing there, I just slow down. Move slowly next to me. It’s okay if it doesn’t affect me, but they will move in front of me again and block my camera. I can’t get the picture anymore, I can only shadow in their thighs, arms, or To other locations." He hopes that those who go up the mountain to take pictures can take care of others and be more polite.
