The largest case of complaints for harassment of children in the Catholic Church in Argentina had a judicial setback in recent weeks.
These are the complaints against the Antonio Provolo Institute, a school and boarding school for deaf children in the City of La Plata, about 60 kilometers from Buenos Aires.
On November 3, the Buenos Aires province court of cassation ruled in favor of one of the defendants and reopened the debate on the statute of limitations for child abuse.
