Likud supporters demonstrated last night (Tuesday) in front of the Farkash family home in Caesarea, which was recently used by protesters against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and government corruption.

The family lost their son, Air Force pilot Captain Tam Farkash, in a helicopter crash during the Second Lebanon War.

A handful of protesters lined up in front of the family home equipped with a megaphone, chanting, "You are a disgrace to the people," "The loss does not give you the right to host anarchists."

"There was a shock," said another Caesarea resident who was at the scene.

"About 15 Bibi supporters came with amplification under the window of the Farkash family, shouted for an hour and a half, sweared in the most disgusting way possible. Also towards me. Two policemen standing there did not lift a finger until the moment Anat disbanded and went down to take the microphone. The policeman intervened and detained one of the protesters. "

Netanyahu supporters demonstrate in front of the Farkash family home in Caesarea last night

The bereaved mother, Anat, said that the demonstrators "came to us, waved Likud flags and came to sting us, a private family, for allowing the citizens of the State of Israel to tell the prime minister, our neighbor, what they have in mind."

She said, "They came to attack and say to us, 'Shame.' Shame on what? We are a whole family? 'Shame' that our son gave his life for them and their children and all the residents of the State of Israel will have a safe life? Where did we get to?"

"Bibi is erecting fences, black curtains and means of protection, and to us ordinary citizens, they stand for an hour to say the words of hatred, jealousy and frustration that they, the Farkash family, believe in democracy," the mother added.

"The right of opponents of Benjamin Netanyahu (and not the government) to speak to him and express to him how they feel - to explain to him that he does not represent the needs of the entire nation, including those who stood under the window of our house."

Farkash protested against the conduct of the protesters and the prime minister.

"To what level have you reached Benjamin Netanyahu? How much more can you sow hatred, envy and divide the people? Dear Likudists, who stood under our window tonight - we are fighting for all the citizens of the State of Israel - our innocent was killed for you too - we all deserve better," she said.

"Shame that our son gave his life for theirs and their children will have a safe life?".

For the family described the demonstration, and claimed helplessness on the part of the police.

According to him, the demonstrators "read that they were not interested in the son falling, that they were angry that they were talking on the loudspeaker from their roof to Netanyahu and they confronted the bereaved mother. Two policemen came. For half an hour they did nothing in front of ten bibists."

The police have not yet received a response to the allegations.
