The Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Xu Yongheng replied that the program is convenient for the people, and there is no plan to force the use of specific places and citizens.
Yu Yongheng said that the program was launched on Monday (16th). The program is voluntary. So far, more than 10,000 public and private sites have participated. The program has also become the top download ranking of the mobile application store.
He emphasized that the collected data will be encrypted and will only be stored on the user's mobile phone. It will be automatically deleted after 31 days and will not be uploaded to the government system. He has also independently assessed the information security risks of the program.
He pointed out that he hopes that more venues will be added in the future, and the program will be promoted step by step.
