The explosives, which were placed by terrorists near the fence in the Golan Heights, are a wake-up call for those who thought the war between the wars in the north had stopped, or at least took a break until the end of the war between Biden and Trump.

For by reasonable logic, all the elements involved in the use of terrorism against Israel on the other side of the border, in Syria and Lebanon, led by Iran, Hezbollah and Syria, had to keep the fire completely until it was finally decided who would sit in the White House.

Iran, with a stifled economy and an uncontrollable corona, has high hopes for Biden's return to the nuclear deal and fully understands that any provocation or careless military move at this time could create unnecessary risks.

If Tehran needed proof of the wisdom of the restraint, the New York Times reported this week that President Trump had considered attacking Iran's nuclear facilities before the end of his tenure, and was persuaded to back down only under pressure from his advisers.

Hezbollah, too, is in one of the greatest downturns in its history, groaning under the economic sanctions imposed by the Trump administration and immersed up to its neck in a severe internal crisis, without a government and with a heavy cloud of huge debts, heralding a prima facie of any existing order.

Assad, which is largely at the mercy of Iran and Hezbollah, also has its own troubles.

Nevertheless, it became clear again this week, with the exposure of the cargo scene in the Golan Heights, that none of the terrorist elements against Israel had ceased its activities.

Hezbollah, which has not yet given up its desire to take revenge on Israel for killing its operative near Damascus and only last week launched a drone into its territory, continues to operate two terrorist infrastructures in the Golan Heights. One, known as the Southern Command, operates from Syrian army outposts several dozen kilometers away. From the border, and the other - the Golan Heights Case Unit, is engaged in activating local residents for operations against Israel and may very well be involved in placing the explosives on the border yesterday, and also three months ago, which then ended in the killing of four terrorists by Air Force aircraft.

Iran, too, which does not intend to give up its presence in Syria, has not stopped directing and monitoring Hezbollah's terrorist activities against Israel from Syrian territory, and at the same time, the latest report by the Atomic Energy Agency reveals, continues to enrich uranium. Already to an amount of more than two tons. This amount, when enriched to a high degree, is sufficient to produce two atomic bombs.

Despite the fact that none of the elements involved in the war between Syria and Lebanon, on both sides of the border, are now interested in military escalation, Israel signaled last night that it would not remain silent about the bombing of the Golan Heights.

On the political front, Israel's intention is to try to persuade the US president-elect not to return to the nuclear deal with Iran on terms that could only spur Tehran to increase its subversion in the Middle East.
