Today, Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in the West Bank city of Hebron, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
The director of the Ibrahimi Mosque, Hefzi Abu Sneina, confirmed to Wafa that the settlers' storming the Haram is a flagrant violation and is a dangerous and provocation to the feelings of Muslims, stressing that the Ibrahimi Mosque will remain purely Islamic.
For his part, Palestinian Judge Mahmoud al-Habbash explained that settlers storming the Ibrahimi Mosque is a war crime and a blatant assault on Palestinian holy sites, stressing that the Ibrahimi Mosque is a pure Islamic heritage that non-Muslims have no right to in accordance with the decisions of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Endowments condemned the Israeli settlers' storming of the Ibrahimi Mosque, noting that this attack is part of the occupation’s plans to Judaize the city of Hebron and demand that all international, Arab and Islamic organizations intervene urgently to stop these dangerous escalatory practices by the occupation aimed at seizing Palestinian holy sites.
