XV of France: place to the liners against Scotland, with Jalibert and Ramos

2020-11-20T14:45:58.550Z

The coach should offer a start to the usual substitutes against the XV of Chardon, with Jalibert at the opening and Ramos at the back.

The staff of the XV of France stay the course and do not change their plans.

Against Fiji, the usual "finishers" - we no longer speak of substitutes for Marcoussis - should have their chance.

And, after the cancellation of the match against the selection of the Pacific, the usual liners since Fabien Galthié took office will again be aligned, from what we have seen during high intensity training which took place on Wednesday at the CNR.

XV of France: quickly get back into the rhythm against Scotland

Three changes have been made compulsory due to injury: in third row, Lyonnais Dylan Cretin will replace François Cros (Toulouse, broken foot);

Matthieu Jalibert (UBB) should succeed Romain Ntamack (thigh) at the opening and Toulouse's Thomas Ramos start at the back, after the knee injury of Anthony Bouthier (Montpellier).

At Murrayfield, the first row should also be completely overhauled, with the tenure of Racing 92 hooker Camille Chat, who will honor his 9th tenure in 31 caps.

Until then, the staff of the Blues had preferred Toulouse Julien Marchand in the last six games.

The pillars Demba Bamba (Lyon) and Jean-Baptiste Gros (Toulon) should replace Mohamed Haouas (MHR) and Cyril Baille (Toulouse) respectively.

In the cage, Toulonnais Romain Taofifenua should start in place of Montpellier Paul Willemse.

Return to Murrayfield for Jalibert and Ramos

In the three-quarter line, there is less upheaval.

Antoine Dupont, Virimi Vakatawa and Gaël Fickou will play their third and last match of the autumn window, under the agreement between the FFR and the LNR.

Teddy Thomas, however, is back on the wing.

The Racing 92 player started in the success in the preparation match against Wales (38-21) and had scored a sumptuous try after a small kick to follow for himself.

All eyes will be focused on Matthieu Jalibert in Edinburgh.

The Girondin opener will find Murrayfield where he had participated in the first and only setback of the Galthié mandate, after quickly replacing Romain Ntamack (8th), who left after a concussion.

Jalibert will have to show progress in the management of the game of the Blues, especially in the alternation of foot-game play in the hand.

At the back, Thomas Ramos, who was present during the last two French defeats in Edinburgh, will have to demonstrate that he can shake up the hierarchy behind Anthony Bouthier, the French revelation of the year 2020.

The likely XV of France:

Ramos - Thomas, Vakatawa, Fickou, Rattez - (o) Jalibert, (m) Dupont - Ollivon (cap), Alldritt, Cretin - Taofifenua, Le Roux - Bamba, Chat, Gros

Replacements

: Baille, Marchand, Haouas, Willemse, Woki , Couilloud, Carbonel, Vincent
