A drowning accident occurred in Tseung Kwan O.
At about 11 pm on Thursday (19th), Wan Po Road was near Tseung Kwan O TV City and the sea near Tseung Kwan O’s Area 137 Fill Depot. A man was reported to be drowning. After he was rescued, he was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital. Died.
It is understood that the victim is a landfill engineering staff, and meets friends to dive to catch fish from time to time.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a diving suit. He was suspected of being drowned during snorkeling. His companions had not seen him since he went ashore.
The police are investigating the incident.
