Damascus-Sana
A musical evening on the violin, performed by artist Ammar Younes along with his orchestra and hosted by the Drama Theater at Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts.
The evening program included the playing of the pieces “Mahalla Al-Nassma”, the song “Jabbar” and the badge of the series “Al-Mal and Al-Banoun” and Medley “A Mixture of Lyrics” by Fayrouz and Umm Kulthum, and pieces for the automatic composition “Lunga Hijaz, Lunga Ajam, and Download Nahwand.”
The pieces were all prepared by Younes, the player in the National Symphony Orchestra and the Syrian National Band for Arab Music.
It is noteworthy that Ammar Younes holds a BA in music from the Higher Institute of Music and is a teacher at the Faculty of Music Education at Al-Baath University and has participated in Arab and international festivals and concerts by Arab stars such as Ziad Rahbani, Charbel Rouhana, Nuri Iskandar, Sabah Fakhry, Wadih Al-Safi, Muhammad Abdo, Mayada Al-Hinnawi and Majda Al-Roumi.
