release the Regional Health Agency (ARS), the Ile-de-France academic region and the Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris (APHP).

School education establishments "
are among the priority places for the deployment of tests, in order to guarantee the effectiveness of the right to education while offering the highest level of protection to students, teachers and all staff.
The statement continued.
These screening operations “will
allow these establishments to quickly identify people carrying the virus and to break the chains of contamination, in order to better protect young people, their families and the entire educational community.
A larger scale deployment is planned
”.
To date, the number of classes closed due to Covid-19 is increasing, with 222 classes and 20 schools stopped, according to figures released on Friday by the Ministry of National Education.
Last week, there were 142 classes and 21 closed schools.
With regard to contamination, they are progressing among students, with 13,870 young people in school identified positive for Covid-19, against 12,487 last week (out of 12.4 million in France).
On the staff side, official figures show a slight decrease, with 2011 cases against 2223 last Friday (out of a total of 1.16 million).
Faced with the worsening of the Covid-19 epidemic and an emerging discontent, the Minister of Education announced at the beginning of November a strengthening of the health protocol in high school with courses in shifts or in half-groups.
