Summary :
Daughter of an amateur pilot, Dorine Bourneton was destined very young for a career as an aviator.
This dream came to an abrupt end at the age of 16, on May 12, 1991, during a flight with three other members of his flying club.
Disoriented by thick clouds, the plane crashes on the side of Mont d'Alembre in the Massif Central.
Dorine, the only survivor of the crash, permanently loses control of her legs.
But the young woman realizes that her handicap does not technically prevent her from being in control of a device.
In 2003, thanks to his fight, people deprived of the lower limbs obtained the right to become professional pilots.
Eager for new challenges, she became the world's first disabled female aerobatic pilot in 2015. Her story, first told in her book “Above the Clouds” (Robert Laffont, 2015), was recently adapted into a TV movie.
