The United States recorded more than two thousand new deaths and 200 thousand cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours, according to data published by Johns Hopkins University yesterday.
The university data, which is a reference in tracking injuries and deaths resulting from the "Covid 19" pandemic, according to what Agence France-Presse reported, "During the past hours, 200 thousand and 146 new infections and 2,239 deaths were recorded in Corona in the United States."
And the United States, which has been witnessing a new epidemic boom a few weeks ago, is the country with the most recorded deaths due to Corona in the whole world, followed by India and Brazil, and then Mexico, which has crossed the 100,000 death mark.
The United States is also the first country in the world in terms of the number of people infected with the virus, as the number of confirmed infections, as of last Wednesday, reached about 12 million infections, which is nearly a fifth of the total infections recorded worldwide.
