Wartenberg
- Burglars broke into two single-family houses in Wartenberg on Wednesday evening.
In the first case, the residents left their house on Robert-Weise-Straße between 6 and 7.15 p.m.
According to the police, they had to find signs of burglary on their return.
The perpetrators had entered the house through a window in the short time and had searched the bedroom for valuables.
They were able to steal cash and jewelry worth a higher four-digit amount and escape undetected (property damage around 100 euros).
The second case was similar.
In the absence of the injured party, between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., the burglars probably gained access to a house on Am Steyrerfeld via the patio door.
Here, too, the bedroom was ransacked, but the intruders did not find any loot (property damage 250 euros).
In both cases, the police immediately carried out searches in the area of the crime scenes, but these did not lead to the identification of suspicious persons.
The criminal police asks for information on Tel. (0 81 22) 968-0.
