The Russian investment fund expected the production of 500 million doses of Sputnik vaccine outside the country in 2021, as the head of the fund, Kirill Dmitriev, announced that a very high production quantity of Sputnik virus vaccine had been achieved next December, adding that Russia had reached an agreement with India, China, Brazil and Korea regarding the production of the Sputnik vaccine. Russia has received requests from foreign countries to supply it with more than one billion doses of the vaccine.
In a related context, the media quoted a number of researchers as saying that a vaccine for Covid 19 being developed in China showed success in intermediate stage tests, explaining that the vaccine developed by Sinovac Biotec produced a rapid immune response in the tests that included about 700 volunteers.

According to media outlets, last Friday, Pfizer and its partner Biontech announced that they had submitted a request to the US Food and Drug Administration to approve the emergency use of the Covid 19 vaccine, which is the first of its kind to provide protection from the emerging corona virus.
