The sunny November Sunday was overshadowed by two accidents.
A total of four people involved were injured, some seriously.
Two cars collided in Pyramoos (St. Wolfgang) around 1.30 p.m., and shortly afterwards a cyclist was hit by a car in Zusatzorf (Langenpreising).
St. Wolfgang / Langenpreising - The place is considered to be accident prone, on Sunday afternoon another serious collision occurred at the intersection of the district road ED 23 in the direction of Isen and the Pyramoos – Oberndorf connection.
The police in Dorfen reported that a 34-year-old from the St. Wolfgang community wanted to cross the county road in a southerly direction.
She took the right of way to a married couple (53/50) from Isen.
Before that, she had let a car pass.
The culprit's golf overturned and remained on the roof.
The fire brigades Pyramoos, St. Wolfgang and Dorfen as well as units from the Mühldorf district, the rescue service from Dorfen and Mühldorf with emergency doctors were in action.
The injured were taken to the Erding, Ebersberg and Rosenheim hospitals.
Exactly an hour later the second accident occurred.
According to the police, a 56-year-old driver from Langenpreising wanted to turn from Obere Römerstrasse onto state road 2331 towards Moosburg.
He overlooked a 55-year-old cyclist from Buch am Erlbach.
Miraculously, he only suffered minor injuries when he fell.
He came to the Freising Clinic.
In both cases, rescue helicopters were alerted, but they flew back without patients.
