Today, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian joined the campaign of criticism for the objection of outgoing US President Donald Trump to the outcome of the US presidential elections, describing the latter's position as "irresponsible."
"We agree with what Joe Biden said about Trump's showing of incredible irresponsibility," Le Drian was quoted by Reuters as saying in a televised statement.
On Thursday, US President-elect Biden described Trump's efforts to cancel the election result as "completely irresponsible".
France, like many countries around the world, hastened to congratulate Biden on November 7, after he obtained the necessary votes to win the US presidential election, despite Trump's failure to acknowledge the result and questioning the occurrence of fraud in it without any hard evidence.
