Irschenberg
- A 65-year-old driver from the Rosenheim district braked his Audi to a standstill at around 12.15 p.m. on federal road 472 at the level of the Dinzler coffee roastery on the traffic island in order to let another 65-year-old pedestrian cross the lane.
The driver behind recognized the situation too late and crashed her Audi into the rear of the car in front.
The 31-year-old who caused the accident and her eight-year-old daughter sustained minor injuries as a result of the force of the impact.
The pedestrian was also hit by the Audi and was slightly injured.
The Irschenberg volunteer fire brigade was deployed with around 20 people.
They took over both the traffic control and the subsequent cleaning of the lane.
As the responsible police station Miesbach reports, the estimated total damage to the two vehicles is around 10,000 euros.
