The Russian company (Sputnik V) announced today that the price of its anti-corona virus vaccine will be "much cheaper" than other vaccines, including the American (Pfizer) and (Moderna) vaccine.
The company explained in a tweet posted on its official account on Twitter that “the announced prices of 19.5 dollars per dose of (Pfizer) vaccine and between 25 and 37 dollars per dose of (Moderna) vaccine, in fact, means that the costs will amount to between 39 dollars and 74 dollars per person. Where one person needs two doses of the vaccine, so the price of the (Sputnik V) vaccine will be much cheaper than the other two vaccines.
For his part, a spokesperson for the Russian Direct Investment Fund indicated that the price of the Russian vaccine (Sputnik V) will be determined next week.
And the Russian Direct Investment Fund had recently confirmed that the effectiveness of (Sputnik V) reached 92 percent, according to the results of interim analyzes of data for the third stage of clinical trials of the vaccine, which was registered by the Russian Ministry of Health on the 11th of last August.
