The Narcotics Control Branch in Damascus arrested a drug dealer and confiscated 29 kilograms of hashish and 200 Captagon pills.
In a statement, SANA received a copy of it today, the Ministry of Interior stated that based on information received by the Narcotics Control Branch in Damascus about the presence of an amount of narcotic substances hidden in the home of a person in the locality of Al-Qazzaz, who is promoting them to drug users, and through follow-up and monitoring, the branch was able to arrest him and search his home. The amount of 29 kilograms of cannabis and 200 tablets of Captagon.
The ministry stated in its statement that, upon interrogation with him, he confessed to possessing and promoting narcotic substances, and by checking his status, it was found that he was wanted for fraud and robbery, noting that the narcotic substances were confiscated while investigations are still ongoing with the arrested person to uncover all those involved in the case to take the necessary measures against them.
