Deri, 39, a father of 14, runs one of the largest Breslav Hasidic communities in the city.

Deri was arrested nine days ago after the police station in Lod received three complaints from students aged 14, 16 and 19, who claim that the rabbi committed indecent acts and acts of sodomy on them.



The details of the investigation indicate that the acts were allegedly committed by the rabbi for four years.

On the other hand, Deri's lawyers, Sharon Nahari and Ze'ev Leket, claim that "our client strongly denies all suspicions against him."
