At 10 p.m. this Sunday, Thomas Rettant (LinkedOut) still occupied first place in the Vendée Globe with a lead that swelled a little over Charlie Dalin (Apivia) during the day, to 23.7 miles.
Plagued by structural problems on Hugo Boss, Alex Thomson continued to lose ground on the two skippers in front of him, 238.8 miles behind the leader.
