The Agricultural Cooperative Bank branch in Salhab spent more than 91 million Syrian pounds for the value of the bills of marketed cotton to the governorate's gins for the current season.

The director of the branch, Eng. Sherine Al-Daher, stated in a statement to SANA that the disbursement operations were carried out according to statements received from the Cotton Marketing Corporation, pointing out that the disbursement operations included agricultural associations and private sector farmers in Salhab, Al-Sarmiyah, Nahr Al-Bared, Al-Mashal, Al-Asharna, and Hurat Ammrin.

Al-Daher explained that the branch continues to finance winter crops by selling seeds in cash and in installments, and that it will start financing winter crops from various kinds of fertilizers, starting from mid-December.
