The Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch in Kenitra, in cooperation with the Directorate of Agriculture, distributed a grant containing 400 tons of wheat seeds and 300 tons of fertilizer to farmers in a number of villages in the central and southern sectors of the governorate.
The director of the branch, Dr. Jumah Al-Hassan, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the grant benefited about 2000 farmers and included the distribution of 200 kg of wheat and 150 kg of fertilizer to each beneficiary, indicating that this grant comes within the livelihood project to help the poorest families to invest agricultural lands in a way that achieves agricultural economic product. In turn, the Director of Quneitra Agriculture, Engineer Hussein Salan, indicated that this grant contributes to increasing the agricultural production plan, introducing new areas for production, and improving the conditions of families that depend on agriculture.
