A new logistics center is being built on Gruber Straße in Poing, and the opening is planned for the end of 2021.
The tenant is a furniture rental company.
The new central warehouse of Hummel Möbelverleih GmbH is being built on Gruber Strasse on the western outskirts of Poing (near the petrol station) on an area of 10,000 square meters.
After the building committee of the Poing municipal council approved the project in the industrial area, the first work has already been carried out: trees and bushes have been removed.
According to the press release of the real estate consultancy InProReal, which brokered the property, the completion of the new building is planned for the end of 2021.
"With the new warehouse in Poing, Hummel Möbelverleih is merging three locations," they say.
This includes the previous main warehouse in Parsdorf.
Poing: Furniture rental is bringing together locations
In the press release, Hummel Managing Director Florian Weidenbach is quoted as saying: “We are pleased to be able to offer our employees more attractive jobs at the new Poing location.
At the same time, we save ourselves the commute between the warehouses and can thus react more quickly to inquiries. ”InProReal informs InProReal, Hummel Möbelverleih GmbH is the supplier of trade fair stands and shareholders' meetings.
According to the real estate consultancy, the new logistics building (including office space) will be built on an existing Logicor property.
