Israeli media revealed a secret visit by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Saudi Arabia yesterday, during which he met with the Crown Prince of the Saudi regime, Mohammed bin Salman, in the city of Neom, in the presence of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
The Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot reported on its website today that a private plane with a foreign registration for San Marino took off at 8 pm from Ben Gurion Airport carrying Netanyahu and Mossad chief Yossi Cohen on a direct flight to the Saudi coastal city of Neom, where they met with Bin Salman in the presence of Pompeo and returned at midnight last night. After a flight that took about five hours.
The newspaper pointed out that Netanyahu had previously used the plane in the past, referring to a similar visit by the Israeli Prime Minister to Saudi Arabia in October of last year.
For his part, the Israeli website (i24 News) also stated that a Saudi source confirmed to him the news of the visit, revealing that at the time when Netanyahu was traveling to Saudi Arabia, a meeting of the occupation government was scheduled to take place in the evening, but that the meeting was postponed until today, which confirms that the delay was due to Netanyahu's trip to Saudi Arabia.
Netanyahu's visit to Saudi Arabia and his meeting with bin Salman were confirmed by Israeli Minister Yoav Galant, according to Reuters, and came a day after the foreign minister of the Saudi regime, Faisal bin Farhan, confirmed in an interview with Reuters that Saudi Arabia supports full normalization with (Israel) “But first a permanent and complete peace agreement that guarantees the Palestinians must be approved. Their state with dignity, ”he said
The crown prince of the Saudi regime considered in a press interview during his visit to Washington in March 2018 that (Israel) has the right to exist and establish a state, which proves the convergence of the goals and interests of his regime with the West and the Israeli entity to liquidate the Palestinian issue.
