Three days after she took part in the funeral of her baby son, today (Monday) investigators of the murder of the baby from the Lachish area agreed to release the baby's mother under full house arrest for seven days.

The police's consent to release the mother suspected of the serious acts of arrest at her home follows the findings of the infant's pathological report, a post-mortem, at the Abu Kabir Institute of Forensic Medicine.

The police representative claimed at the hearing that the investigators believe that the mother's share is not different from the father's, the suspect - the main one in the abuse / murder of their son.

"Parents," said a police spokeswoman, "need to take care of their baby."

At the beginning of the hearing came the mother's power to disqualify the judge, due to her statement in the previous hearing towards the suspect: "You are in denial."

The judge informed the parties that she did not intend to disqualify herself, noting that the statement came to make a distinction between the suspect father and the suspect mother.

The judge addressed the issue and said: "I do not find a reason to disqualify myself," and later added that she would wait for the findings of the pathological report to make a decision regarding the continued detention or release of the mother.

At one point in the hearing, the mother asked to say things, but her attorney silenced her: "Do not say anything ... they will extend your detention anyway."

In response to his statement, the judge remarked to him: "You despise the court."

The parties later went on a break, and when the pathological report was submitted and a consultation took place between the investigators, the police agreed to release the suspect mother to her home, under full house arrest, for seven days, at her parents' house.

In a decision to release her under house arrest, the judge ruled: "At the beginning of the hearing, a request was submitted for an extension of the respondent's detention for 24 hours for interrogation, on the grounds that it was necessary to wait for an opinion from the Institute of Forensic Medicine." Of the respondent under restrictive conditions, so that the police no longer petition for an extension of detention. "

The parents of the suspect, who agreed to monitor the conditions of her release, appeared at the hearing. "

"It was learned that the pathological report determined that the injuries that caused the baby's death were not old, and therefore they were caused on the same day the mother was at work. In other words, allegedly, they were caused by the father, the main suspect," the judge stressed.

The judge added in her decision: "In light of the initial opinion received, and especially in light of the last paragraph in the opinion - I ordered the release of the suspect from detention under the following conditions: She will remain under full house arrest at her parents' home in Beer Ganim until 11/29/2020."

The judge even turned to the suspect and told her: "I am glad for you that you are being released today."

As mentioned, last Friday, in the cemetery in one of the settlements near the city of Ashkelon, the funeral of the four-month-old baby who was allegedly murdered by his parents took place.

The funeral was attended by dozens of people, including the parents themselves, who despite being in detention at the time were allowed to attend and came out of detention handcuffed and under heavy police security.

As you may recall, last week the court decided to extend the mother's detention until today, while the father's detention was extended until Thursday this week.

In the hearing that took place, investigators of the affair argued that suspicions were growing that despite the denials, the couple were involved in harming him.

During the hearing, the police representative presented photos showing the baby the day before he was taken to Barzilai Medical Center, in which he is relaxed and smiling.

The mother said at the hearing that she had witnessed him being injured, shaken and thrown on the sofa.

At this point, the suspicious father admitted that an incident occurred two months ago in which he laid the child on the couch rigidly, however he did not suffer any injuries as a result.
