Case 512 is a case that has been going on for about five years, and at its center is the criminal organization of Yitzhak Abergil.

Originally, 18 defendants were charged in the case, but some of them, including brother Meir Abergil, reached plea bargains.

The indictment tells the story of an international criminal organization that has sent arms of cross-continental drug trafficking, including imports from South America and sales in Europe and Japan.

The most serious charge in the indictment is the "criminal attack" on Yehuda Halevi Street, which took place in Tel Aviv in 2003. This is a failed attempt to murder the criminal Zeev Rosenstein using an explosive device - which ultimately resulted in the deaths of three innocent passers-by and the injury of about fifty others.

The trial, as stated, has been conducted since 2015 and six state witnesses were recruited.

The parties' summaries were filed several months ago, but this month the district court held a hearing to orally complete the summaries.

The parties are now awaiting a ruling.
