A unique park in Givat Shmuel will be built with an investment of NIS 20 million.
The park will include an ecological pool, a bike path, landscaped areas, a butterfly garden, shaded seating areas and playground facilities.
The site was designed as nature in the heart of a city by the landscape architectural firm Berman Brut.
The park will be named after Shmuel Finels, President of the First Zionist Congress in Pushkan and Vice President of the World Zionist Congress in Basel, after whom the city is named Givat Shmuel.
"The city is currently in the process of developing urban infrastructure, designed to develop the public space, improve the quality of life of residents and encourage leisure activities," said Yossi Brodny, mayor of Givat Shmuel.
