- And suddenly, clearly worded, the municipal meltdown was in the room: “Shall we stop all of this?
Immediately? ”This is the question asked by Unterhaching's Mayor Wolfgang Panzer (SPD) in the Culture and Social Committee.
In doing so, he reacted, perhaps somewhat exaggerated, to current interventions by the Greens with regard to the “Kinderhaus plus” on Oberweg.

So everything is palette?
Not at all.
The culture and social committee had to decide which weighting factors were to be imposed on the future sponsor when running the day nursery.
The municipality had considered a trade-off between quality and cost aspects, 60 to 40, the Greens advocated 70 to 30.

From the point of view of the administration a marginal difference - but suddenly the Greens questioned the whole project.
Their parliamentary group leader Evi Karbaumer initially campaigned for “participation, inclusion and education for sustainable development” in terms of sponsorship.
She then suggested that the facility be run as an “inclusive crèche”.
And she opened a barrel as a fundamental question: on the subject of catering.
Catering kitchen, as planned so far?
Evi Karbaumer advocated “cooking freshly”, preferably from a biological point of view and “with appropriately trained staff”.
Panzer: "More than a year and a half too late."
Following the decision of principle of the municipal council in March 2019, these demands came “more than a year and a half too late” for Mayor Panzer.
The move away from the regular to the integrative operation is an equally serious change of heart as that from the catering to the fresh kitchen.
Panzer referred to the resolutions of March 2019: "What you are asking would be a complete change to what we are currently putting up."
What annoyed Panzer the most: Evi Karbaumer, who, with her new green dominance in the municipal council since the previous election, was now pushing for rescheduling, had personally - with her party colleagues - voted for the major project in its current form.
After this memory refreshment, the Greens no longer insisted on stopping the construction work on Oberweg, but gave their approval to the award criteria for the day nursery.
