The six Gulf Cooperation Council countries since the outbreak of the Corona epidemic have recorded more than one million injuries and 9,000 deaths.
According to a statistics conducted by Reuters, based on the data published by each country, the number of injuries in the Gulf countries, whose population exceeds 50 million, 1,182 injuries, and 9162 deaths.
Saudi Arabia, which has a population of about 34 million, recorded 224 new cases yesterday, bringing its total infections to 355,000 and deaths to 5,780.
And injuries in the UAE have increased steadily since early August, reaching 1,578 new cases per day in late October and since then, the number of daily cases in this country of 8.9 million has decreased to about 1,200.
In Kuwait, the number of injured has ranged between 400 and 900 cases per day since early May, while the number of injured in Qatar has witnessed a constant variation between 200 and 300 new cases per day since early August.
Cases increased in the Sultanate of Oman around early October, but the number of injured has decreased since then, according to daily official figures, while daily cases of infection in Bahrain have decreased since mid-September.
