(Haßberge district)

school bus

was

hit on the side

by a

truck

and badly damaged.

There were around 20 to 25 children on board the bus, some of whom were seriously injured.

For as yet unexplained cause, he was

hit on the side by a truck on the

.

were around 20 schoolchildren aged six to ten on the bus.

Most were

uninjured

in the

accident

Seven children are believed to have suffered minor injuries from the broken glass.

flown to a nearby hospital in

rescue helicopter

There are still numerous

emergency services

on site to look after the children and take care of the injured.

The road is currently closed.
