According to a study published in the journal BMC Medicine, vegans and vegetarians may have an increased risk of bone fractures.
In the research, they found that there were 4.1% more cases in vegetarians and more than 19% in vegans per 1000 people for 10 years.
However, the study involved almost 55,000 UK adults, most of whom were white Europeans and women.
