On Saturday,
Liberation
published a long article affirming that Avenir Lycéen, a union created in 2018, which stood out for its defense of government reforms, had "
germinated
" in the ministry with the idea of "
serving communication
" from Jean- Michel Blanquer.
Mediapart revealed in early November that Avenir lycéen had received 65,000 euros in grants in 2019 squandered in food costs and luxury hotels.
Number 2 of the Ministry of National Education from 2017 to 2019, today rector of the Nancy-Metz academy, Jean-Marc Huart assures us that at the time he maintained relations "
with all high school organizations and associations
".
“
I didn't favor anyone,
” he says.
He indicates that he knew "
some
" members of this union, "
as well as other elected high school students who sat on the national council for high school life
".
Asked to know, as Liberation wrote, if instructions had been given to promote Avenir Lycéen, he considers these “
allegations
” to be “
totally unfounded
”.
“
Obviously when a high school union is in a constructive position, we logically tend to forge a more extensive partnership
,” he adds.
He also ensures that he was not aware of any alerts on the use made of subsidies within Avenir Lycéen.
These accusations provoked a union outcry and led LFI to call for a parliamentary commission of inquiry.
