For a woman, a marriage dispute in Munich has come to a fatal end.

Kriminaloberrat Wimmer begins: "In the evening hours of November 17th, relatives of a 34-year-old woman from Munich posted a
missing
person
report
".
Her
husband
, a 41-year-old Munich resident,
previously
stated that he
wanted
to
go
shopping
with her at noon
.
After that there was no trace of either of them.
A search initially did not reveal anything, but
investigations
were made early on.
On November 18, the apartment was searched again: “
Blood was
found”.
The next day the
forensics department moved
in.
Wimmer explains: "The picture emerged that there had probably been an act of
violence
".
Then the
homicide squad
took over
and an
arrest warrant
for the fugitive husband followed.

Later on, the dead
woman was
found
hidden under a
cot
.
"It's not like in crime series," says Wimmer about the belated discovery of the
body
.
One had
to adhere
to given
procedures
: "At first it was not evident that a
fight
had taken place
in the apartment
".
The
motive
is so far unclear, but there have already been violent attacks by the husband on the 34-year-old.
In a related
police operation
, the later perpetrator behaved "impudently".
Super Recognizers
saw the accused on November 17th at the
main train station

he had already found out
about a possible
escape
abroad from
a
travel agency
.
The police are now looking for a man who accompanied the 41-year-old.
Apparently the
perpetrator
fled to
Afghanistan
.
Before that, he had boarded a train to Italy at the main train station, which the Super Recognizers had noticed.
