At 8 o'clock in the morning today (24th), a metal house on Tangren Xincun Road, Yuen Long, caught fire and a lot of smoke was emitted from the scene.
The firefighter dispatched a breathing apparatus team to fight the blaze, and then put out the fire.
It is reported that the area of the fire site is about 50 meters by 50 meters, affecting nearby wooden houses, warehouses and tin houses, and more than 10 residents evacuated to a safe location.
Sources at the scene said that several cats and dogs were trapped in the fire, and one cat was unfortunately injured.
The police are investigating the case.
