According to a Kremlin insider, Vladimir Putin is said to have cancer.
His successor is to be announced as early as January - Putin is thinking of his daughter Katerina Tikhonova.
London -
Vladimir Putin's
health
is guarded like a state secret.
A whole department is supposed to see to it that the
Kremlin chief
stays healthy.
One of his personal physicians, Sergei Mironov, is said to have said only this much: "From a medical point of view,
Putin is
significantly younger than he would be according to his age." In general, Putin prefers honey tea and gentle massages - he is rather skeptical about drugs.
But now a Kremlin insider is again circulating rumors about the state of health of the president.
Putin is said to have developed cancer and had an operation earlier this year.
The British
Daily Mail
had
Valery Solovei
, a prominent
critic of Putin
*
, therefore, said that Putin already in early 2021 plans to resign and his daughter
Katerina Tikhonova
wants to establish itself as a successor.

Cancer diagnosis for Putin?
Kremlin critic reveals alleged resignation plans of the Russian president
According to the
Daily Mail,
speculation about a possible illness has been
going
on since papers leaked that Putin was preparing for the time after his presidency.
But for Solovei one thing is certain:
Putin
suffers from Parkinson's and from a cancer that will soon force him to resign.
“I'm not a doctor and I can't make an exact diagnosis,” Solovei is supposed to have said.
Particularly signs of a possible
Parkinson's disease
are therefore being carefully observed in Russia: For example,
Putin
is said to
repeatedly drink from a cup of medication when
appearing
on TV or to have his legs tremble under the table.
Recently, a violent coughing fit during a live performance fueled speculation that Putin might be ill.
Putin has cancer?
Are the rumors supposed to weaken his position?
It is noticeable, however, that there are rumors about Putin's possible cancer as early as 2012.
Again and again there was speculation about his health if Putin did not appear in public for a long time.
International observers assumed around 2014 that this should weaken Putin's position, as
focus.de
wrote at the time.
According to the
Daily Mail
, the Kremlin has rejected speculation about the disease.
On the other hand, one
thing
is certain:
President Putin
has to worry about the health of his citizens.
Most recently, there had been over 23,000 new infections with the
corona virus
* within one day.
Russia is fighting the pandemic in makeshift hospitals, among other places.
“The assumption that everything is okay is out of place,” Putin said.
