Mexico has the second Congress with the most women legislators in the world.
With women occupying 48% of the seats, the country has a more equal legislative power than Finland, Sweden and New Zealand.
Only Bolivia has a higher percentage with 52% female legislators.
In addition, except for China, the 304 Mexican congresswomen represent the largest female parliamentary group in the world.
China manages to be bigger only because it has almost five times more seats than Mexico ...
