“We started in 2002 with five fairy lights,” the couple recalls.
But the big anniversary party falls flat.
Actually, Sven Borchart explains that they “wanted to celebrate the anniversary really big,” but the coronavirus * has something against it.
In previous years, hundreds of visitors came to the
Christmas house
to see the spectacular lighting.
There was mostly mulled wine, punch and speculoos.

60,000 lights beyond Lower Saxony: Delmenhorster Christmas House lights up again
Unlike in previous years, the Borcharts property in
Delmenhorst is
not allowed to be entered this year.
After all: “You can see everything from the street and the sidewalk.” Sven Borchart hopes that “the people are so sensible and keep their distances”.
On the first of Advent, the
