Sam Daly, a thirteen-year-old child who lover of karate, dreams of winning many medals in the upcoming championships of the Republic, joining the ranks of the national team and raising the Syrian flag in foreign tournaments and entitlements.
Daly tells SANA sports correspondent in Lattakia that his love for karate pushed him to join the Tishreen Sports Club two years ago in order to learn the arts and skills of the game under the supervision of coach Yasser Baghdad, and in his first participation in the Clubs Championship in 2019 in the category of under 12 years, he managed to win first place with a weight of under 35 kg.
Dali added that the gold medal that he won constituted an incentive for him to make more effort and continue serious training despite the suspension of activities and tournaments due to the Corona pandemic, so he kept training fitness exercises at home and is now back to commit to serious exercises at Tishreen Club to participate in the upcoming tournaments through which he seeks to join the national team Representing Syria in foreign tournaments and raising its flag in Arab and international forums.
His coach, Yasser Baghdad, said that Dali is an eye-catching player because of his qualities from his peers. He is an intelligent player who is distinguished by seriousness with training and speed, assimilation and implementation of technical movements accurately and rapidly developing technically.
